TSSAA Announces Mandatory Football Meetings Across the State

TSSAA will conduct eight football meetings across the state during the month of April.  The purpose of these meetings is to discuss the new policy concerning “Limited Contact in Practice during Regular Season & Playoffs.”  After passing the new regulations during their March meeting, the TSSAA Board of Control MANDATED that all middle school and high school HEAD FOOTBALL COACHES must attend one of these meetings. Those coaches attending will also be given state “Football Rules Meeting” credit for the 2015-16 school year.  The meeting for Shelby County Schools Coaches is scheduled for Thursday, April 16th at 6:00 pm at Memphis University School

Kipp Phoenix Rise Again

Kipp Phoenix boys has won it’s second track meet along with the girls winning it’s 1st. Congrats to both Boys and Girls which shows hard work pays off, despite the condition.

Track and Field Update

Yesterday Kipp Collegiate competed in it’s 1st Track meet of the season. The Kipp Phoenix Boys placed 1st in the meet with The Lady Phoenix placing 2nd overall all in the Track meet against Douglass and MLK High Schools
